Beijing is a the capital of the People's Republic of China, it is the second China's largest city, after Shanghai. Beijing is recognised as the political, educational, and cultural center and it is famous for its fine palaces, temples, and huge stone walls and gates. Thanks to its art treasures and universities the city has become a centre of culture and art in China. In 2008 Beijing was the venue of the Olympic games.

Located on China's central eastern coast, Shanghai was established as a fishing and textiles town which grew to importance in the 19th century thanks to its favourable port location. The city has recently become a popular tourist destination and it is China's center for commerce and finance.

Guangzhou is the capital city of Guangdong which is located in the southern part of the People's Republic of China. The city is also known by an alternative English name, Canton. Guangzhou is a very prosperous city, it is a port on the Pearl River, the third largest river of China. Thanks to its perfect geographical location, Guangzhou is also called China's South Gate.
西安
Xi'an is one of the oldest cities in China, it has been the capital of some of the most important dynasties in Chinese history. With a history of 3100 years, Xi'an enjoys equal fame with Athens, Cairo and Rome as one of the four major ancient civilization capitals. Today, Xi'an is important cultural, industrial and educational center of the central-northwest region.
深圳
Shenzhen is situated in Guangdong province north of Hong Kong. In 1979 Shenzhen became the China's first Special Economic Zone. Thanks to the vibrant economy a small fishing village became a modern city. The city lacks historical and cultural sites, on the other hand tourists can visit here many shopping malls, gardens, parks and theme parks.

Hangzhou is located in Zhejiang Province in the Yangtze River Delta. Today, Hangzhou is very prosperous city and one of the most important tourist destinations in China. It is the economic, political and cultural center of the Zhejiang province as well. Hangzhou is famous for its natural beauty with the West Lake, cultural and historical heritages. Tourists can visit here many gardens, temples and pagodas.
